I can’t believe that I did not discover consumer reporting on the internet until just recently. For years I feel like I have been wandering around in the dark when I try to buy something. Now that I have figured out how to read reviews on the internet, I check into anything that I buy, from TEXAS ELECTRICITY PROVIDERS to reviews on ski jackets. I really won’t buy anything over one hundred dollars now a days without reading consumer reviews. Most recently, I had my heart set on buying these beautiful salt and pepper grinders from Williams and Sonoma that were laquered wood. They are absolutely gorgeous and would have looked perfect in my kitchen. After reading the reviews though, I am really so glad that I did not pull the trigger. Most people who had bought them ended up returning them shortly after they purchased them. If I had not have read the reviews, I probably would have made a one-hundred fifty dollar mistake and caused myself a lot of time and aggravation. Gosh, I really love the internet!

Former party pals Britney Spears and Paris Hilton were unexpectedly reunited this past week after being invited to the same Hollywood dinner party. Britney Spears and Paris Hilton were reunited Thursday night when they both attended a mutual friend's birthday party!

The former friends were spotted at the Palihouse in West Holiday, alongside Jason Trawick, who is not only Brit Brit's man but also Paris' agent!

Britney, the Toxic hitmaker cut wildchild Hilton out of her life in 2008 after suffering a headline-grabbing breakdown which saw her lose custody of her two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline and being placed under her father's conservatorship.

Spears has since cleaned up her act and has been working on resurrecting her pop career, while Hilton has found herself in trouble with the law on numerous occasions last year for drug possession.

The two blondes smiled and posed for the cameras on Thursday after coming face-to-face at Palihouse private diners club for a mutual friend's birthday party, which Spears attended as her boyfriend Jason Trawick's date.

An eyewitness told E!Online.com, "Britney was shy with most of the people there. But she and Paris hugged and talked for awhile."

In a bizarre move, The Pirate Bay , the world’s largest BitTorrent tracker, is partnering with social dating site Meezoog to launch an online dating site PirateDate.com, to take on Match.com, Zoosk and others.

It's a dating network around sharing. PirateDate will allow singles to share and assist their social connections in finding potential dates, while getting recommendations and referrals from their friends. Pirate Date is utilizing Meezoog’s technology to provide users with “social proximity” measurements, that allow people to efficiently filter their cyber connections.
