Katy Perry "Part Of Me "Film: Her Despair Over Russell Brand Revealed !

As her marriage to Russell Brand failed, Katy Perry was so  professional that she was able to perform to thousands of fans on her concert tour.



But in her new documentary film "Part Of Me", Perry is seen breaking down in tears and unable to speak as she struggled to understand and find a solution to her relationship issues.

The movie, which was filmed over her 2011 tour, saw Katy and Russell initially happy and in love.

But as the tour continued and they spent increasingly amounts of time apart, Katy has allowed the cameras to capture her devastation.


As well as showing that Katy was the one traveling the most  to visit Russell, the film also reveals their different attitudes to family.

While Russell, 37, seems to be looking forward to be a father, at 10 years younger and with only a few years of success behind her, Katy isn't quite ready.

The film shows Katy doubling over as she sobs backstage in Brazil, unable to communicate whether or not the show should go ahead.

But after composing herself, she puts a big smile on her face and is happy for her audience as the gig starts.





Another scene shows an exhausted Katy on a plane asking one of her entourage when her next break in the tour is so she can fly and see her husband.

Katy looks distressed when she is informed she won't be able to see him for another 18 days.

In another shot, a crewmember asks Katy is Russell is coming to visit her.

An angry Katy replies: "He should but he's not."




She later admits: "I'm fighting to keep my marriage alive."

A friend then adds: "She should be resting, but she wants to fly to wherever Russell is to show she cares. She's running herself ragged."

Reflecting on her documentary, Katy stated this week: "Every ten days or so I would put everybody (on the tour) on pause for three or four days so I could go back and re-charge and see to my relationship and give that time, which was very intense for me because the show was still on the road. But I made that sacrifice because it was important for me and I had made a commitment at that time. Sometimes I had to fly in on the day of the show, completely jet-lagged and feeling like I had been hung by my ankles, and have to go on stage. But it's like I pushed a button when I walked out (on stage."

In another sequence, Katy receives a text from Russell mentioning their future children, to which she claims: "I will be a mother when I decide to be a mother, but not right now. A baby can't have her baby."

A second text then prompted Katy to break down in tears.

It has to be mentioned that Russell filed for divorce from Katy - who was on tour at the time - in December 2011 after 14 months.

Katy Perry On Russell Brand Marriage: "I Did Everything I Could But It Still Failed"

Prior to their split, Katy Perry, 27, informed her management team that the longest she was willing to go without seeing Russell Brand, 37, was two weeks. According to Katy Perry, she often flew to wherever he was working to spend three or four days with him.

At one point, a frustrated Perry learned she would be going 18 days without seeing her ex-husband. "Where are my relationship days?" she asked, looking at her busy schedule.

The constant traveling became more problematic as time went on. "She'll fly to wherever Russell is," a team member stated in a voiceover. "She's running herself ragged."

At one point in the film, a makeup-free Perry sat on an airplane, looked directly into camera and admitted: "I'm trying to keep my marriage alive."

After Brand filed for divorce in December, Perry was visibly and reasonably upset. "The truth is I'm a romantic and I believed in the fairy tale. . .I did everything I could but it still failed," Katy Perry quoted as saying. "The dream of being in love is a lot different than the reality of making it work."

But Perry, ever the optimist, quickly changed her tune: "I've got a second chance at a brilliant life."

It's no secret that the final moments of Katy Perry's 14-month marriage to Russell Brand are captured in Katy Perry's new documentary, titled: "Katy Perry: Part Of Me" (in theaters July 5).

In the revealing film, Katy admitted:"Being in love is a dream, but the reality is not like the movies. There's a lot more compromise and sacrifice."

Katy Perry "Wide Awake" Video: Perry Punches Prince Charming( Russell Brand) In The Face

While Katy Perry stayed relatively mum about her divorce from Russell Brand, her new fairy tale-inspired video "Wide Awake" speaks volumes to where her head is about the split, especially the part where she punches Prince Charming!

The video, which debuted Tuesday night, had almost 650,000 views early Wednesday. In it, Katy appears to be smitten by the Prince Charming. When he leans in for a kiss, she notices he's got his fingers crossed behind his back, leading to her punching him in the face.

It has to be noted that Brand filed for divorce from Perry December 30 following a 14-month marriage which began with a lavish India wedding.

Speaking with Ellen DeGeneres about the breakup last month, Russell Brand claimed: "I still love her as a human being. But, sometimes when you’re in a relationship I suppose it doesn’t work out, does it?  But that doesn’t mean I regret it or anything. I was very happy to be married with her. She’s such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her."

In her chat with Ellen, Katy cryptically told: "I think sometimes people think that we’re perfect, and we know we’re not perfect, at all."

"I just wanted to tell a story about myself going through this journey, maybe sometimes trying to get out of the maze. There’s good parts, there’s bad parts" Katy told MTV about the song.

Katy Perry Nude Bodysuit At The "2012 MuchMusic Awards"

Katy Perry dared to bare in a sparkley nude bodysuit with giant butterfly wings at the "2012 MuchMusic Awards" in Canada Sunday night.

It has to be noted that Perry had three costume changes during the evening, but she wore her most daring outfit - complete with a long purple ponytail - while she performed her new single "Wide Awake".

While the costume helped spice up her performance, Perry appeared a little ashamed when she still had the outfit on when she accepted one of her two awards for the night.

"I had no idea that I was going to win an award after I performed or I would have worn more clothes," Perry claimed using the black bar trophy to cover her backside as she walked off stage.

It has to be mentioned that Perry’s music video for "Wide Awake" will have its world premiere Tuesday. In an interview with "MTV News" airing Tuesday, Perry discussed about the song’s significance. "I just wanted to tell a story about myself going through this journey, maybe sometimes trying to get out of the maze," Katy Perry quoted as saying. "There's good parts, there's bad parts. Of course, there have been a lot of things that went on last year that I had to get through and overcome. I think what probably kept me going is just the purity of my belief in music."

The video for "Wide Awake" premieres Tuesday at 7:53 p.m. ET on MTV, followed by an exclusive 30-minute interview with Perry and MTV's Sway Calloway on MTV.com. Perry will talk about the song as well as her upcoming 3-D concert film, "Katy Perry: Part of Me".

"The Wide Awake" video will also debut on VH1, Logo and TeenNick, in addition to MTV.com, VH1.com and LOGOtv.com. Her fans around the world will be able to stream the video online at KatyPerry.MTV.com.

Katy Perry: "People Think We're Perfect But We're Not At All"

Katy Perry and Russell Brand finalized their divorce in February and according to Perry, it will all be documented in her upcoming movie "Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D".

Katy, 27, made an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Tuesday to discuss with the talk show host about what it was like to shoot the movie through her marriage and divorce.

"I thought it was important for me. First of all, I thought it was important to show everything in between.  I think sometimes people think that we’re perfect and we know we’re not perfect, at all," Katy quoted as saying.

"I think it’s important start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream you always have to be perfect or flawless or live in some kind of fantasy world. So that’s why I decided to put everything into the film… In the most tasteful way."

It has to be mentioned that the former couple were married in India in the summer of 2010, but by the holiday season of 2011 they were separated.

"Mostly it’s about how I go there and the ride along the way which can be bumpy but mostly it was extremely fun," Katy concluded.

Katy Perry Splits From Robert Ackroyd !

Katy Perry is single again!

Katy has split from Florence + the Machine guitarist, Robert Ackroyd. The couple started dating about a month ago when they were photographed kissing at "Coachella Music Festival".

"It wasn't that serious," according to a source. "It's not a nasty thing and they are still talking, but Katy told him to do his thing and they'll talk soon."

"No hard feelings," another source reveals. "She's really busy and so is he."
