Madonna Sued Over "Vogue"For Copyright Infringement !

Madonna is being sued over her dance megahit "Vogue". Wanna know the reason? She allegedly never paid to make the song so damn horny! 













To be more specific, the record company named "VMG Salsoul" filed the lawsuit against Madonna in L.A., claiming that The Queen of Pop sampled the horns and strings from "Salsoul Orchestra's" 1977 dance song "Chicago Bus Stop (Ooh, I Love It)."

According to the lawsuit, Madonna never paid to use the samples and has illegally profited off the instrumentals since she released "Vogue" in 1990.

So, you may resonably wonder: "Why did it take so long?"
Well, "VMG Salsoul" states the samples aren't obvious and were only recently detected thanks to new technology that can help isolate and identify individual sounds.

"VMG Salsoul" is now filing a lawsuit against Madonna for copyright infringement, demanding unspecified damages.

Madonna's DNA: Sterilization Team To Prevent Genetic Theft !

According to reports, Madonna insists on having a "sterilization team" which will prevent fans from getting  her DNA.





Madonna's tour rider already required that each venue accommodate her 200 person entourage (which includes 30 bodyguards, an acupuncturist and several personal chefs), a dressing room decorated with lilies and white and pink roses with their stems cut exactly six inches and her hotel room furniture be replaced with items shipped in from her home.

Now the Queen of Pop wants the dressing room and backstage area to be wiped clean to prevent genetic theft!

Concert promoter Alvaro Ramos, who is handling her MDNA tour dates in Portugal, told the "Winnipeg Free Press": "We have to take extreme care, like I have never seen for any other artist. We cannot even look at the dressing room, after it is ready, or even open the door. We can only enter after her sterilisation team has left the room. There will not be any of Madonna's DNA, any hair, or anything. They will clean up ­everything."

Sounds crazy eh? Well, over-the-top requests are common among celebrities. If Madonna wasn't demanding and a perfectionist throughout her career, she wouldn't be the Queen of Pop.

Music Producer Calls Madonna "A Funky Grandma"

Canadian progressive house producer Deadmau5 (real name: Joel Zimmerman) isn't obviously done slamming Madonna. For those who have missed it, back in March Zimmerman called Madge a "f---ing idiot" after she made a thinly veiled reference to ecstasy use at the "Ultra Music Festival".




Though they sort of made up (Madonna made the unbelievable argument that she was referring to an unpopular house song, not to the drug widely associated with electronic dance music festivalgoers, and Zimmerman backed off), a new Rolling Stone article may have re-ignited the feud.

"You can't to be "hip" and "cool" and "funky grandma"?" Zimmerman quoted as saying.




 
"Fine. It's not my place to say you're irrelevant. If you're going to come into my world, at least do it with a little more dignity."

To Zimmerman, it was a simple matter of respect. "I understand she has millions more fans, and is way more successful than I'll ever be. But it's like talking about slavery at a f---ing blues concert. It's inappropriate."

Well, if this guy can't stand Madonna at all why he keeps on hearing her music and commenting in almost everything she does? Maybe because she is still entertaining and very far from being irrelevant? As for Madonna's age, he wished he was like her when he reaches her age... What do you think?

Lady Gaga Responds To Madonna's Mockery On "Born This Way " Song During Her MDNA Tour !

After Madonna called Gaga out
 during her MDNA tour kick-off in Tel Aviv recently by playing a mash-up of her "Express Yourself" with Gaga's similar-sounding "Born This Way" and then ending the song by chanting: "She's not me," Gaga appeared to respond to Madonna's slam.

In detail, while playing her follicular pride tune "Hair" during a New Zealand show on Thursday, Gaga sat down at her motorcycle-shaped keyboard and appeared to respond to the incident. "It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves to put other people down or make fun of them or maybe make mockery of their work," Gaga quoted as saying in a video of the speech posted on YouTube in which she speaks in general terms about knocking down others to make yourself feel better. (Speech starts at 2:30 mark.)

"And that doesn't make me feel good at all. That just makes me feel like I'm not being a good human being ... I don't even want to fight back because it's more important to me to keep writing music. Because that's really all I care about, is the music ... things are really different than they were 25 years ago, and that's what makes "Born this Way" so relevant for me. We're socially in a different place and it's OK, we don't have to all slice and hate each other anymore." Gaga added.

Madonna Nipple During Istanbul Concert

The fake "No Fear" tattoo on Madonna’s back bared at her Istanbul concert this weekend says it all.  

The Queen of Pop stripped down on stage to reveal her right nipple and egged the crowd on during a performance of "Human Nature" from her 1995 "Bedtime Stories" album. Dressed in a pinstripe outfit and wearing a skimpy bra top that made the reveal a little too easy, she shrugs afterwards in the video below, as if to say: "Yes, I’m Madonna and I can do whatever I want."

It may be 17 years later, but she’s still using "Human Nature" to confront critics who claim she goes too far in invoking sex in her music and performances. If you are a Madonna fan, you will get used to it and enjoy it as well!

It has to be noted that this isn’t the first time on Madonna’s 80-show "MDNA" tour that she has pushed people's buttons. Just last week, Madonna used a swastika image emblazoned on French leader Marine Le Pen’s head in a video montage, causing an uproar during her Tel Aviv stop. The tour hits Rome next and continues through Europe before coming to the States later this summer. 

It has to be mentioned that the Istanbul show played to over 55,000 in the arena and she reportedly followed up "Human Nature" with "Like A Virgin"… of course. Besides, that's what Madonna embraced through the years: Controversy!

Madonna made it clear: There was no "malfunction" involved in this!

Madonna Pisses Off Marine Le Pen With Swastika Video

Madonna managed to piss off the French all the way from Israel when she put a swastika on the face of a prominent French leader during her concert in Tel Aviv and now a lawsuit is pending.

During her show in Tel Aviv last week, the face of National Front leader Marine Le Pen showed up briefly on a video screen with a swastika on her forehead. Le Pen, is now considering legal action over the stunt.

She told the Daily Mail: "We understand how old singers who need to get people talking about them go to such extremes ... If she does that in France, we’ll be waiting."

It has to be noted that Le Pen is the head of France's National Front, a political party that leans to the far right and has been accused of racism. Le Pen pledged to reform the party's ways after taking over last year from her father, Jean-Marie Le Pen ... a convicted racist and anti-Semite who is also a Holocaust denier.

A racist politician is offended by Madonna because she told the truth. It's pretty obvious that she is a facist too because she bans freedom of  artistic expression...

Madonna: What She Said In The Middle Of The MDNA Show About World Peace

Madonna's show  in Tel Aviv was not only the kick off of her new  World Tour MDNA, but also a chance for a call for peace from the Ramat Gan stadium stage.

Here is what Madonna told the 33,000 audience in the middle of her show:

"I chose to start my world tour in Israel for a very specific and important reason. As you know, the Middle East and all the conflict that occurs here and have been occurring for thousands of years, they have to stop. You can't be a fan of mine and not want peace in the world."

"So start today, every single one of you, if there is peace here in the Middle East, there can be peace in the whole world" Madonna quoted as saying.

It has to be noted that the day before the show Madonna met with members of the Palestinian-Israeli Peace NGO Forum and invited 600 of them to her concert.

"We spoke to her for a few minutes and we asked if she would say anything about peace," Yariv Oppenheimer of Peace Now, a member of the forum, told the AFP.

"She told us: "I will say much more than a word about it.""

During the concert Madonna paid tribute to those who seek to help ending the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and claimed:

"There are some very important NGOs which are representing both Palestine and Israel over here. It's easy to say: "I want peace in the world," but it's another thing to do it. If we can all rise above our egos and our titles and the names of our countries and our religions - and treat everyone around us with dignity and respect, then we are on the road to peace. No conflict can ever be resolved by causing pain to another human being" Madonna stated.

Madonna MDNA Tour Costumes

Madonna is set to vogue her way around the world on her MDNA concert tour, which kicks off Thursday in Tel Aviv and she’s enlisted a cadre of fashion designers to create an array of showstopping looks for the stage.







Madonna's parade of costume changes includes outfits from longtime collaborators Jean Paul Gaultier and Jeremy Scott, shoes from Prada and Miu Miu and pieces from Alexander Wang. Dolce & Gabbana made suits for the band and background vocalists, Fausto Puglisi created menacing bandolier vests and rams head masks for the backup dancers and even J Brand whipped up custom-made jeans.

Bras and panties , including one heart-shaped style from Madonna’s new intimates line "Truth or Dare", are incorporated into some numbers, as are shoes from the new "Truth or Dare" footwear line, at retail this fall. A somber, elegiac version of the usually peppy "Like a Virgin" will be sung by Madonna in an Agent Provocateur bra.




"It’s a real journey from the first act to the fourth, and the way she constructs her shows is like a theater piece," stated costume designer and stylist Arianne Phillips, who oversaw the entire wardrobe design for Madonna, her backup singers, musicians and 22 backup dancers. Scott, for his part, has been camped out in Tel Aviv this week, working till the last minute on some costumes.

The original Gaultier design is worn during the "Vogue" number and includes a white shirt, black tie, opera-length black gloves and a rigid skeleton corset. The getup references the iconic pink bustier-with-pin-striped suit look the designer created for Madonna’s 1990 "Blond Ambition" world tour, widely considered a pinnacle of both of their careers.




"We played with the ideas of a suit and a corset. But the corset is now like a cage," explained Gaultier. "What I have done this time is a nod to the conical bra corset of the Blond Ambition tour but reinterpreted in 3-D, in patent leather on the outside with metallic leather on the inside. It’s all about masculine and feminine, Madonna and Jean Paul Gaultier classics reinterpreted for 2012."

The designer and Phillips also re-created some archival Gaultier pieces for Madonna’s dancers, as an homage to his long relationship with the iconic singer. Gaultier was also responsible for the kinky equestrian and "Saturday Night Fever"-inspired looks of Madonna’s 2006 "Confessions" tour, and she once walked his runway with her nipples exposed.

"I love Madonna. She is the only woman I have asked to marry me. She refused, of course," added Gaultier. "But when she asked me to do a costume for her for this tour, I couldn’t refuse."




Prada created high-heeled shoes for the male dancers in the gender-bending "Vogue" performance, which includes imagery of the Vogue magazine logo on massive video screens , similar to "Madonna’s Super Bowl" performance of the song, which was viewed by 117 million people.

"This show is epic and bigger than anything she’s done before. There are many more costume changes. We’re taking 700 shoes on the road. Madonna changes outfits seven or eight times and the dancers change 10 to 15 times, depending on the dancer," quoted as saying Phillips of the production, which includes multiple appearances on stage by two of Madonna’s children, Lourdes and Rocco, in supporting roles.

Prada has supplied custom-made shoes for many of Madonna’s previous tours, noted Phillips. "They have been generous for so many years. Her relationship with them is really special. Everything is specially made and they made some incredible high-heeled boots for the boys," she added.





Phillips, who has done the costumes for Madonna’s four previous tours, designed a number of looks herself, delivering a wide range for her famously chameleonlike boss. The lineup veers from a forbidding Joan of Arc-inspired outfit fashioned from metal mesh and Swarovski Elements to a vernal, miniskirted majorette getup for Madonna.

"It’s inspired by a 1940s majorette and I was looking for something playful and fun," explained Phillips.

Masks are a big component to many outfits, with dancers hiding their faces behind gargoyle and bunny guises. "The show explores the idea of stripping away layers of identity and discovering the layers of who you are," claimed Phillips. There’s a menacing streak to some looks, with themes of violence explored in certain segments, which are accessorized with swords, guns, armor and holsters.

One designer missing from the MDNA tour roster is Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci, who designed the showboating Cleopatra-on-Mars outfit Madonna donned for her "Super Bowl" performance. Phillips attributed Tisci’s absence from the collaborator list to scheduling conflicts.

Madonna herself was closely involved with the show’s costume design, stated Phillips, who was nominated for an Oscar for her work on Madonna’s film "W.E." earlier this year. "This is her brainchild and her concept. We have a 15-year relationship and there’s a rhythm to how we collaborate. She’s very open-minded but she expects a lot," she explained. "She’s always challenging herself and pushing herself constantly to learn new things and she pushes me further than I would myself. When you’re on the world stage with her, you really have to bring your A game."

As for the media dustup this week when Madonna supposedly lobbed a grenade at Lady Gaga by mashing up her own "Express Yourself" with Lady Gaga’s allegedly reductive "Born This Way" in rehearsals, it wasn’t just a ploy for attention and it’s part of the permanent show. At the end of the song, Madonna throws in the line "She’s Not Me," from her recent song of the same name.

"Whether it’s an homage or a smack in the face or just being funny, I don’t know," stated Liz Rosenberg, Madonna’s spokeswoman. "People can decide what it means. Madonna isn’t one to explain herself."

Madonna Donates 600 Tickets To Israeli And Palestinian Peace Activists !

Madonna has donated 600 tickets to her concert in Israel to Israeli and Palestinian peace activists.

It has to be noted that 30,000 fans are expected to attend what Madonna is calling a "concert for peace" on Thursday at Ramat Gan Stadium near Tel Aviv. The performance is launching the Queen of Pop's MDNA World Tour.

It has to be mentioned that on Wednesday Madonna met with Israeli and Palestinian peace activists, according to Haaretz. Madonna claimed she would talk about peace during the show.

In March, Madonna had announced her show as a peace concert and declared she would invite activists, saying in a statement: "Music is so universal, and if there’s any chance that through my performance I can bring further attention and enlightenment to honor the peace efforts in the Middle East and help people come together, it would be an honor for me. It is my way of thanking those who are making so much effort toward bringing peace to the Middle East."

It has to be added that Madonna twice has performed sold-out shows in Israel, including the last performance of her "Sticky and Sweet" tour in 2009. She also has visited Israel with her children as part of her devotion to the study of kabbalah; they are with her now.

William Orbit Reveals Madonna's "MDNA" 88% Sales Decrease Reason !

Madonna’s "MDNA" has been a record-setting failure and the legendary producer William Orbit knows the reason.

William Orbit states some Madonna’s best songs for "MDNA" went to Chris Brown!

During a spirited debate with fans on his Facebook page, Orbit gave two fascinating insights into the album’s genesis.

He told that the best songs written for Madonna's album went to hip hop singer Chris Brown.

Orbit admitted that they were strapped for time thanks to Madonna's commitments to her merchandising empire.

It has to be noted that the album experienced an 88% crash from week one to week two of sales.

Orbit, who produced Madonna’s 1998 smash hit record "Ray of Light", claimed: "We were very pushed for time due to… various pressing commitment that took up the artist’s limited time such as perfume ranges and teen fashion contests and other such endeavors. Which are beyond my own limited understanding of pop star agendas."

Orbit added: "We had songs lined up that were breathtaking, you’ll hear some of them on Chris Brown’s new album, Kreayshawn’s (INCREDIBLE) new album and my own, recently completed Strange Cargo album. Most of them, I believe, destined to become classics (let me know in a couple of months whether you concur with that). All of us fully committed to putting ourselves through extraordinary efforts to make "MDNA" the greatest album of the year, but alas the time wasn’t there."

What do you think of Orbit's explanation?

In my opinion, it is disrespectful to give his best songs to Chris Brown. I appreciate though his honesty. I wonder why Madonna has accepted something less than perfection. We all know that Madonna is a perfectionist. Anyway, the "MDNA" record has some amazing tracks. It took me back to the good days of 90's techno sound.

Madonna's Yearbook At Auction !

A photograph of Madonna at the age of 14 has surfaced as a former classmate prepares to sell her yearbook at auction.

The photograph, which appeared in the 1972 yearbook of "West Junior High School in Michigan", shows the Queen of Pop with dark brown locks and a innocent smile across her face.

Despite the sweet-as-pie expression, Madonna, now 53, was said to be a rebellious student at the Rochester Hill, Michigan school.

Set to be auctioned through Christie's in London, the yearbook belongs to "Nancy" and is expected to fetch about $2350 when it goes on sale on June 12.

Madonna had also written a note to her classmate, which read: "Dear Nancy, I hope you have fun at Adams and the years to come. Madonna "76"'.

Adams is said to be a reference to Adams High School, where Madonna later went herself.

The number "76" is said to refer to her cheerleading number at the time.

Beneath the black and white photograph reads her full name - Madonna Ciccone.

It has to be noted that the auction will also include a pair of boxer shorts that she wore in the 1985 film "Desperately Seeking Susan".

The shorts are expected to fetch about $1,250.

Helen Hall, a spokesman from the salesroom at Christie's, told "The Sun": "I think it is very rare for one of the yearbooks from Madonna's junior high school with her in it, to come on to the market. I have never seen one before."

She added that the item should prove extremely popular.

"It is very far removed from rock 'n' roll and shows someone who is rather innocent and young," she continued.

"It looks like Madonna has dark hair and the camera clearly liked her from an early age and shows the signs of the star she was to become," she quoted as saying.

"There are huge Madonna fans all over the globe and there is a big market," she added.

When Madonna was a student at West Junior High School, she was said to have become known for her unorthodox behaviour.

It has been said that she would perform cartwheels and handstands in the school's hallways between her classes.

Madonna's Biggest Ambition Ever !

Madonna wishes she could be the President of the United States.

The Queen of Pop believes she would do a great job if she was able to take control of the country and her main goal would be to stop the country wasting money on ''weapons of mass destruction''.

When asked what she would do if she was President of the United States for one day, Madonna revealed: ''You can't really change much in one day. I think I would like to be president for a longer time. I wouldn't spend as much money for weapons of mass destruction but instead for education and art.''

Although she has achieved worldwide success, Madonna's ambition and drive has not diminished over the years.

Madonna attributes her success to her thirst for reinvention and never taking ''anything for granted''.

Madonna quoted as saying: ''It's harder to stay famous than become famous. I don't think there's a rule for that (staying successful). You have to really love what you're doing. You have to feed your soul with ideas and you're not allowed to stop growing as a human. That's what helps to create art. When it comes to my work I don't take anything for granted.''
