One of my senior classmates at Emmanuel Christian School passed away Tuesday night. Holly was the same age as me--35. She left behind a husband and children.
There were only ten of us in the Class of 1995. We had all been classmates for years, with some friendships going as far back as kindergarten. I had known holly for six years. Because of differing paths which took me to Columbia and eventually Virginia Beach while she stayed locally and started a family, the last time I saw her was graduation night seventeen years ago. I cannot picture her life as a wife and mother. She is forever 18 as far as I am concerned.
