The classic Daleks are set to reappear in Doctor Who series seven instead of those rainbow colored power ranger types. Hallelujah the powers that be listened to fan mockery over the change, which I still suspect was Steven Moffat passive aggressively taking out his frustration over being forced to feature daleks when he did not want to do so. The classic look fits the Daleks. They are born soldiers, so a drag, beat up look makes sense. Nevertheless, I have a penchant for the sleeker black and brown design from the Russell T. Davies era.
