Formspring Question #380--Asgardian Bromance Edition

Character interactions make even the bad episodes of Stargate SG-1 enjoyable. What is you favorite relationship?
This is probably not the answer you want to hear, since I assume you are asking about the relationships between main characters, but I am digging the bromance--I cannot believe I used that term--between Thor and Jack. It is totally amusing how Thor thinks so highly of Jack.

I understand Jack is special because he made first contact, but Thor goes way overboard. He wanted Jack to negotiate the peace treaty with the Goa’uld even though he was unqualified to be a diplomat. He insisted jack alone be the one to infiltrate Maybourne’s rough SG team. He called on Jack when the Replicators were running amuck on his ship.

The funniest bit is when Thor arrived at the SGC seeking help in preventing the Replicators from taking over an Asgard planet. He was visibly disappointed with Sam offered to go with him instead. Since the first thing Thor showed her was a new ship named after Jack, one can figure what the purpose there was. If Thor had hair, he would twirl ir around his finger every time he dreamily mentioned Jack’s name. I will admit it was also funny when Sam hugged Thor after they defeated the Replicators and he got flustered by it. I assume the two of them must bond over time as well.
